- Increasing peacefulness, joy and clarity
- Decreased reactive state and increased calm.
- Improvement in sleep, digestion, mental focus as well as in your specific challenge you bring to practice
- With consistent practice, you can completely recover from illness.
- I recommend to attend 3 classes and see if this is a fit.
- What type of clothing should I wear? The great thing about practicing Zhineng qigong is you can practice in just about any type of clothing. I recommend something lose fitting and low heeled shoes or bare feet
- I'm in a lot of pain or my body is quite stiff. Should I still attend?Absolutely! One of the benefits of joining a class is even if you can't do the movements, sitting with soft, focused attention, you will benefit. Join in when you can. And each class, you'll feel better and you may find you're able to join in longer each class.
And, each movement, you can either sit or stand depending on how you're feeling. - Would there be any reason not to join class? There are no downsides to practicing Zhineng qigong. And, you do need to listen to your body. Please wait at least 30 minutes after eating a meal to practice.

Zhineng Qigong was developed by Dr Pang Ming in the late 1970s. As a doctor trained in Eastern and Western medicine, as well as a Qigong and Tai Chi Grandmaster, he was inspired to create a Qigong form that was not only very effective, but also that people could learn easily. His intention was, in particular, to support people whose aim was to develop and uplift their own health and well-being.
